Food Friday- It came from Pinterest!

I'll be the first to admit that I spend entirely too much time on Pinterest.  Lately I've been checking out the food category and have been trying some different things.  Here's a sample of some good recipes I've tried so far!

Apple Pie cocktail.  Yes please.  It's apple cider, vanilla vodka, ice, and pumpkin pie spice.  Could be a little dangerous because you can't taste the vodka at all.

This recipe for oven roasted sausage, potatoes, and peppers was surprisingly good.  Certainly not healthy, but easy and would be great on a cold day.

I had heard of Cowboy Caviar before but had never tried it.  It's actually really good and makes a ton!  Definitely let it sit in the fridge overnight before serving.

If you only try one thing off Pinterest this fall, make it this.  Mix one can of pumpkin with a box of spice cake mix, plus a dash of pumpkin pie spice.  Bake as cupcakes according to the box instructions and you will have yourself the most amazing, moist pumpkin muffins ever.  Seriously, they are SO good and so easy!  I would give credit where credit is due, but the blog where this was link to has been removed.

I took this Monster Cookie Dip to work with me one day, and I'm glad I got it out of my house because I think I would have eaten the whole thing.  It makes a lot and would be great for a party with kids.

This recipe for slow cooker ham and white beans was really simple and hearty.  It made a TON so it would certainly feed a crowd.  I also just used my stovetop, since I killed my crock pot trying to make apple butter (RIP my dear crock pot...that was a Pinterest recipe fail).

Have you all been successful with recipes on Pinterest?  I would live to know what ones you have tried, since I'm always looking for new things to try!
