Last week my husband and I visited Mt. Cheaha, which is the highest point in Alabama. It was a really fun (and windy and cold) day and I can't believe we had never been there together before.
Here's me, appearing to be looking at something very important.
Seriously, it was so windy it was really hard to stand up!
It was really a lovely day. We went and ate greek pizza at the best place ever and then stopped at a thrift store on the way home (I got great stuff!).
So beautiful! I love hiking and exploring and being outside, in nature, is one of my favorite things! Also: your hair. is. gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnd thrifting?! LOVE IT.
Pretty photos and love your hair color :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThat sounds like a really fun date. I loveeee Greek pizza!!!
ReplyDeleteYour hair/outfit is awesome.
I wish Joe and I got out of the house more..... here in Bellingham there is tons of places to hike and what not.. my lazy ass just never gets outside to do it.
We don't usually because my husband isn't huge on nature. I'm slowly bringing him outdoors though!
Deletethese photos are so beautiful - this is in alabama? it seems everywhere has such beautiful places once you go looking for them, you know? it's really neat to see somewhere different (I don't think i have heard of this place before) and it's such a cool view. and i love your autumnal outfit

Yep! It's silly to think that we have any real mountains in Alabama, but hey, I'll take what I can get. I love mountains of any kind!

ReplyDeleteHa yeah! It was intense!
DeleteI should head up there with the boys one day soon. Like, not when it's this cold though. BTW, your outfit is amazing! Love.
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit of a drive up there, but the trail is completely accessible, which makes it great for kids.
DeleteLove these pictures! i wish we had points with such a great view, but The Netherlands = a really flat country. Too bad ;)
ReplyDeleteHehe. Yes I'm glad I love near at least some small mountains!
Deleteyou are so beautiful <3 and this place is so amazing and magic <3 i wish i could go there once <3

ReplyDeleteWow, I love seeing photos of the area you live in. It is so beautiful. The leaves have long gone here, so it's refreshing to know it is still so lovely in other parts of the country!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful day. All our leaves have been blown away. :( Your photos are nice. Love your hair!
