Saturday, my husband and I went out to our house in Alabaster. It's kind of a long story, but we are moving back to the house we own very soon. We've been living in Tuscaloosa for a year because that's where I am working. I'm leaving my job (and my career), so we are moving back to our house, and I have to say I'm pretty excited about it.
Anyways, we are slowing moving things back over to the house. Yesterday was pretty gloomy and cold. We met our neighbor's new foster dogs and they are adorable! I hope Mason and Blaze like them as much as we did. I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of through-the-fence sniffing going on.
My husband almost stepped on this little booger by our doorway and he tried to make his way into our garage. We picked him up and moved him out. After I took this photo, he jumped right at me, and it scared the poo out of me!
We've got a few flowers in bloom, which is crazy since it's the first of March. I know some of them have already died with the up and down temperatures we've been having.
We've also got 10 bazillion leaves to clean up when we move back. I like living in a wooded area, but the downside is the massive amount of leave to clean up in the winter.

Sounds like a perfect weekend (at least to me!) were still freezing cold and still have snow cover-ewww!
