What I Wore- New Hair


Dress: Thrifted
Shoes:  Payless
  Locket Necklace:Forever 21

So, after 3 days and several bleachings and dyings, this is how my hair turned out.  And just let me tell you, I have a lot of hair to dye.  Trying to cover it all and get an even result is a nightmare.  However, I do like the way it turned out in the end.  I used Ion Color Brilliance Brights which is new at Sally Beauty Supply.  It was only $5 for a tube, and of course I went in today and they had a $2.00 off coupon.  I ended up getting 2 more colors for only about $2.50 a piece with my regular Sally's card discount.  So far I like the way the dye worked.  We'll see how it holds up after the first shampoo.

I am headed up to Ohio today.  Although I'm looking forward to it, I always hate leaving my husband and doggie babies behind.  Hopefully I won't be gone too long!

    I love the hair! I wish I could pull that off at my job! we live in ohio, what part are you headed? oh, and I hate leaving all my little babies behind!

      We're headed to Warren, which is in the extreme northeast corner. Where are you from? I've got family spread out all over Ohio. :-)

    My goodness, I love your hair! So did you bleach your own hair? I've wanted to do that for awhile but I've heard too many horror stories.

      I did, but my hair held up pretty good. It was already fairly light, so I wasn't going from extreme dark to light or anything.

    I keep hearing about Ion's new brights. Based on pictures... it looks light rather than bright. Very lilac ish :D Cuteee and love your dress!

      Well I mixed in a ton of conditioner with it to lighten it up, so I'm not sure how it would look if you just put it on straight out of the tube. I'm guessing it would be darker than brighter.
