New Project

So, I've started on a project I've wanted to do for a while.  I'm going to make a granny square bedspread.  Problem is, our bed is a king size.  That means I'm going to need around 400 of these squares (yikes!!!).  Good thing these squares are super easy to crochet and it's not like I have a deadline or anything (I'm shooting for about 10 years from now).  I picked a dark gray for the main color, ivory, teal, mustard, and navy blue.  I love the more colorful granny blankets, but I wanted something a bit more subtle and modern.  The best part is that my husband helped me design it.  So it will be super special when it's done!

In other news, this is the fateful week I start school and I'm not really sure what to expect.  Thank you all for the well wishes, as I will need them!!!  If I suddenly disappear, you'll know I've got 10 papers to write and have gone off the deep end.  =)

    I've never heard of a granny square bed spread but I am loving these squares and the color. I can't wait to see it when it's finished!
