What I Wore- Last Days Of Summer

Outfit: Thrifted
Glasses: Goggle4U

Ok, I know that technically Autumn doesn't start until next month, but I'm going to completely ignore that because I'm so ready for Fall.  I'm ready for football (Roll Tide), cinnamon everything, layers, boots, tights, cool weather, clear blue skies, red & orange trees, and pumpkins.  I seriously just got excited writing all that (I'm a total Autumn nerd).  I've started a list so I can maximize my Fall experience this year.  For the last 6 years, I've pretty much been stuck at work during the Autumn months.  Not this year though.  So I'm going to make the absolute most of it by starting ASAP.  The weather is even cooperating by getting a little bit cooler (meaning you might not completely melt when you go outside).  It's a start at least.  Are you all pumped for Fall?  What special plans do you have?

  2. So cute! I love the blue bun and shoes. :)

I am *beyond* excited for our first Fall season here in Athens. The leaves have already started changing and the air is a tad bit cooler. I plan on making lots of things with cinnamon too...and try my hand at making a quilt, build a fire pit and take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

    Sooooon.

    1. I'm hoping we can take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway too, as I've never been during the fall. We'll at least get to visit my husbands parents who live near Nashville, so I'm sure it will be pretty there too.
Good luck on your quilt! That actually gave me a great idea to start on a granny square blanket! Thanks!
