Dog Park

During the summer, one of our local public parks built a large off-the-leash dog park, and it's awesome.  I believe someone in our area actually won a contest through Beneful, and they designed the park.  They have tennis balls, tunnels, water fountains, a spray pool, and an obstacle course.  We've been waiting until it got a little cooler to go, so we took our Mason there on Monday.  He had lots of fun to say the least.
Mason couldn't quite figure out the purpose of the tunnels.  He was like, yeah...this is nice but I'm not going in there.  He's not a huge fan of water, but he did get his feet wet a little.
I guess he thought this was a giant dog and he had made a new friend.  He was disappointed.  They also had these fake flowers and bushes around for the sole purpose of peeing upon.  Mason took full advantage of that and peed on all of them.
In the end, he was a very happy dog.  We're so lucky to have such a nice park right down the road from us.  We'll be going again soon, although not too soon because I think Mason is still wore out.

    1. He was in total doggie heaven. I can't wait to take my other dog because he will go crazy for the water (he's part lab).

  2. Wow, that is so cool! What an amazing idea for a park. Effy would have had lots of fun barking at the giant dog poster looking confused.
