Bobble Blanket

Ever since I saw Rachele's Bobble Blanket, I've been thinking about it.  It's so beautiful and it's the perfect fall project.  So I broke down and started my own this weekend.  It's an easy pattern and it certainly a stash buster!  I may not have enough yarn on hand to finish it without buying some more.  It will be worth it though.  Of course I've already got plans for my next project.  I want to use this pattern with my cotton yarn and make rugs for my bathroom!  Not sure if that will be before or after I spend the next 10 years working on my king-sized granny square blanket.  Actually, I'm working on another little side project that I hope I can share with you very soon (it's a surprise!  And no I'm not pregnant!  I feel the need to say that whenever I say I have a surprise).  Just wait and see!

  1. I am planning to start this too! I'm in the middle of a large ripple afghan and I was hoping to finish that before I get involved in another LARGE project. I have project ADD.

  5. oh this is great !! i can't crochet at all .... like it's somewhat ridiculous how I can't even make one row of crotchet look like anything more than a knotted ball of string! I can't wait to see it when you are all done !! one of these days I will take a class, and come to you for tips and tricks of the trade ;)

    1. It took me a long time to get the hang of it- with a little help from my grandma (and a lot of help from YouTube)!
